Camping Gear Necessities
Camping is a pleasurable activity for adventurous people that
allows us to explore the world away from the comfort of our homes.
But whether you and your family end up having fun can be determined
by whether or not you brought the right gear. And, gear is not
just for fun, it's also about keeping everybody safe.
Here is of the camping gear you should bring:
1. Sleeping bags
Aside from the tent where you sleep, sleeping bags are the next
essential that will keep you dry, warm and safe from bugs.
2. A Good Tent
Tents can be small enough for one or sleep a family of ten.
Make sure that you choose the best tent for your locale, weather,
and terrain as well as one that will last a long time.
3. Flashlights
You can't go camping without your own light. It's also
imperative to have in times of emergency.
4. First aid kit
Don't skimp of first aid. Bring as much as space allows
because when it comes to safety, you can't be too prepared.
You never know what's going to happen when you're camping, and
happen it usually does.
5. Back packs
Bring bags with a lot of space for all your things when you go
hiking.
6. Lanterns
Besides the obvious need for a temporary flashlight, lanterns can
be fueled for a longer time ... such as those late-night camp fire
sing alongs.
7. Head lamp flashlight
A lamp that can be put on as head gear is useful if you are going to cook. Holding the flashlight will be a hassle for you but with the head flashlight, you can make use of your both hands to the things you should do.
8. Camp Fuel
You can't cook food without fuel. Enough said.
9. Coleman cooler
You'll need to keep your drinks cold and other perishable foods
such as milk for the kids and meats you don't want the bears to
smell.
10. Compass
No decent boy scout (or not) would be caught dead camping without
a compass. Even if you don't go hiking, it just makes good
sense to bring one.
Be safe and happy camping!
